Adam Parr
Head of Strength & Conditioning and Data Analytics
Adam C. Parr enters his first full season as the Head of Strength & Conditioning and Data Analytics for Reno 1868 FC. He was with the club in a similar role for the second half of the 2018 season, fulfilling a Performance Internship requirement for his Masters degree in High Performance Sport, which he has earned from Australian Catholic University. He also holds a B.S. in Kinesiology, from San Diego State University, and is currently recognized as a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), a Certified Sport Performance Coach (USAW), a Certified Functional Strength Coach (CFSC), and a member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). Before joining Reno 1868 FC, Adam owned and operated his own private fitness company in Beverly Hills, CA for the past 9 years. He has also previously completed a Performance Specialist internship at EXOS, an 18-month Strength & Conditioning/Sport Science internship in MLS with Chivas USA, and was the Heart Rate Training Specialist at Competitive Athlete Training Zone (CATZ) in Pasadena. He also won a high school soccer national championship in 2003 as a senior at Jesuit High School, in Sacramento, CA.
Adam is excited to explore all that there is to do in the Reno-Tahoe area, including hiking, kayaking, climbing, and especially mountain biking. When he isn't working or exploring the outdoors, Adam is also an active volunteer for both Big Brothers-Big Sisters of Northern Nevada and the SPCA of Northern Nevada. Some of his favorite things include tacos, Parks & Rec, live music, Marvel movies, festivals, and the ocean.
