Late goal by Brian Brown ties the match up, marks his seventh goal this season

TACOMA, Wash. – Reno 1868 FC left Tacoma, Washington with a point on Saturday night after a 1-1 draw against Tacoma Defiance. Reno was able to level the score late in the game despite Tacoma’s lead for much of the match after the team’s goal in the 10th second.

It was Tacoma’s Justin Dhillon who scored a header after a cross from Azriel Gonzalez in just the 10th second of the match. The 1-0 lead held strong for much of the match, but Reno was eventually able to even the score.

Of Reno’s 12 total shots during the match, two were on target and one made it into the back of the net after Seth Casiple’s corner kick was headed into the goal in the 83rd minute of the match by Brian Brown.

This goal marked Brian Brown’s seventh of the season, while the assist was Seth Casiple’s first.

Reno 1868 FC now has 17 points and still remains in the top five of the USL Western Conference Standings.
