Forward talks hidden talent, movies, his spirit animal, and more

Reno1868FC.com recently sat down with forward Foster Langsdorf, who signed with the club last month

Langsdorf began his professional career with Portland Timbers 2 after graduating from Stanford in 2017. While at Stanford, the Portland native won NCAA National Championship titles in 2015, 2016, and 2017.  

We caught up with Foster to discuss his interests off the pitch. 

If you weren’t playing soccer, what career would you be pursuing?

I would have my own bakery, and I would be a baker.

What is your favorite movie of all time? 

Good Will Hunting. 

What is your spirit animal? 

A chicken. 

Do you have a hidden talent? 

I am good at cleaning dishes. 

What are you currently watching on Netflix? 

The Aaron Hernandez documentary. 

What song would you sing at Karaoke night? 

Wonderwall. 

If you could eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?

A burrito. 

Are you an introvert or an extrovert?

Introvert. 

On a scale from 1-10, how funny would you say you are?

(Corey Hertzog yells in the background "zero") Two. 

What is your favorite cheesy joke or pick up line? 

So two whales walk into a bar, and the first whale says to the bartender “WEEEEOOOOO” and the second whale goes, “Shut up Frank, you’re drunk.”

Shark diving, bungee jumping, or skydiving?

Skydiving. 

Favorite hobby off the soccer field? 

Reading. My favorite author is Stephen King. 

What is one thing you would like to say to the fans?

Thanks for the support! I am looking forward to the season as much as they are, and I just hope that they know we are working really hard here, so that way we can deliver the best product on the field.
