RENO, Nev. – Reno 1868 FC midfielder Christiano François has been named to the USL’s Team of the Week for week one. François scored the game-winning goal in Reno’s season-opening win over Tacoma Defiance, and added an assist for good measure.
François is Reno’s first player on the team of the week in 2020. The Haitian speedster joined 1868 this offseason, and made an immediate impact in Reno’s come-from-behind win at Tacoma.
François and Reno will be back in action this weekend, as the boys in blue host OKC Energy FC in the regular-season home opener. Kickoff is set for 6:15 p.m. PT, and tickets are available here, or at the Greater Nevada Field box office.
