Reno1868FC.com sat down with Tony Alfaro to learn more about the defender. 

Alfaro started his professional career in 2016 with MLS team Seattle Sounders FC after graduating from California State University, Dominguez Hills.  Alfaro signed with 1868 FC in January.

Do you have a favorite team in Europe that you follow? 

Yes, FC Barcelona. 

Any reason why?

Their overall style of play is what I like. 

So then I am guessing you prefer Lionel Messi over Cristiano Ronaldo?

Absolutely. 

Who were the soccer players you idolized or wanted to be like? 

When I was growing up, I watched a lot of Ronaldinho. I really like his style and everything he can do with his creativity. 

What is your ideal weekend? 

My ideal weekend would be hanging out with my girlfriend, going to the movies, and maybe some shopping. 

What is your guilty pleasure? 

I think mine would be dessert. 

Are you currently binge-watching anything on Netflix?

No, not right now, but I do like crime tv-shows and documentaries. 

Would you rather cook or order in? 

Cook. 

How are your cooking skills?

They are pretty good. I like to make enchiladas, and I have learned because of my girlfriend, so I think it would be that.
