RENO, Nev. – Reno 1868 FC has signed midfielder Jesús “Chuy” Enríquez, pending league and federation approval. Through two full seasons in the USL, Enríquez has appeared in 64 games, starting 50.
Enríquez started 2020 with San Antonio FC, appearing in three games. Before that, Enríquez spent two years with Rio Grande Valley FC Toros. For the Toros, he earned 10 goals and nine assists in 61 appearances and 49 starts. In 2018, Enríquez led RGV in both goals (six) and assists (six).
Enríquez holds dual nationality with the US and Mexico, and spent 2017 in Liga MX with Club Tijuana’s B team.
In addition to adding Enríquez, Reno 1868 and defender Yosimar Hernandez have mutually agreed to part ways.
