RENO, Nev. - The Reno Aces Baseball Club, Reno 1868 FC and Professional Sports Catering have revamped and reinvented the menus at Greater Nevada Field in 2017. Additional game day concepts for the 2017 season include numerous brisket and bacon options, specialty hot dogs for every opponent, and an 1868 Burger, inspired by Reno 1868 FC.

"We will always be seeking to improve the fan experience at Greater Nevada Field," Said Eric Edelstein, President of the Reno Aces and 1868 FC. "We are committed providing the community and our fans with the best professional sports experience possible, and firmly believe our new food options enhance that effort."

New to the menu in 2017:

VS. Dogs: Traditional fan-favorite hot dogs infused with a gourmet twist. The consistent side of the hot dog is Reno; topped with coleslaw and pulled pork. The other half varies based on opponent-inspired toppings.

Grand Slam Burger: 1/3 pound gourmet burger with cheese as the main ingredient.

• 1/3 pound Burger with Lettuce, Tomato, and Onion
• Two Grilled Bacon and Cheese Sandwiches acting as the Burger Bun
• Garnished with Pepperoncini and Chili Peppers

 

Sweets:  Coming to Greater Nevada Field in 2017 will be a variety of delicious sweet options.

• Funnel Fries covered in powdered Sugar and Choice of Caramel or Chocolate sauce
• Deep Fried Twinkies sprinkled with Powdered Sugar and topped with Chocolate sauce.

 

Bambino Fries: This fabulous concoction features a trio of house-smoked specialties surrounded by ballpark classics.

• The Bambino Fires include house-smoked pork, brisket, smothered in macaroni & cheese and Granny Smith Apple Coleslaw, all on top of a pile of French fries.

 

Smoke House Burger:  A massive ½ pound burger with your choice of pulled pork or beef brisket.

• Covered in our House BBQ sauce, on top of a potato bun
• Topped with lettuce, tomato, and onion

 

Smoke House Nachos: These nachos are unlike anything ever unveiled at Greater Nevada Field.

• Pulled Pork, Ranch Beans, Jalapeno Cream Sauce, Cilantro Crema, Pico De Gallo, Sliced Jalapenos and BBQ Sauce piled high on Tortilla Chips

 

Bacon: Over ten new items contain the fan-favorite ingredient, bacon.

• Greater Nevada Dip: Ten layer dip consisting of: Cowboy Caviar, Bacon, Pico De Gallo, Cheddar Cheese Green Chili Hominy, Cilantro Lime Crema, Refried Beans, Green Onions, Jack Cheese, and Jalapenos.
• Bacon Duo: Bacon Wrapped Pineapple dusted with Brown Sugar accompanied by Bacon Wrapped
• Apple Wedges sprinkled with Cinnamon
• Bacon Wrapped Hot Dog: Foot long Hot Dog Wrapped in 3 Slices of Bacon
• Grand Slam Burger:1/3 pound Burger with Lettuce, Tomato, and Onion between Two Grilled Bacon and Cheese Sandwiches acting as the Burger Bun Garnished with Pepperoncini and Chili Peppers
• 1868 Burger: ½ pound Grilled Cheese Burger topped with 4 Strips of Bacon, two Onion Rings, BBQ Aioli sauce, Lettuce, Tomato served on a Potato Bun
• Greater Nevada Dip: Ten layer dip consisting of: Cowboy Caviar, Bacon, Pico De Gallo, Cheddar Cheese Green Chili Hominy, Cilantro Lime Crema, Refried Beans, Green Onions, Jack Cheese, and Jalapenos.
