RENO, Nev. — Reno 1868 FC midfielder Chris Wehan isn't one to  leap praise upon himself. 

But the young midfielder has every right to. 

Wehan is one of the top chance creators in the entire USL, ranking in  the Top 20 with 17 chances created. 

Chances created factors in assists and key passes.

So far this season, Wehan has served up three assists and has displayed a 78 percent success rate on passes. 

"I have to credit that to my teammates," Wehan said. "My teammates are making good runs and I am finding them." 

Wehan's contribution has helped Reno 1868 FC becoming one of the most successful teams in the USL when it comes to passing accuracy (80 percent). 

Like many things these days, Wehan said that all goes back to the team becoming more comfortable with one another in the inaugural year.

"We're gelling," Wehan said. "We're all moving for each other and we're working together.

"When someone is in a tough spot, we help them out by moving the ball to the right spot on the field." 

Wehan added that the break this past weekend helped Reno 1868 FC players get ready for the two-game home-stand. 

"The (rest) was really important with a couple of tough weeks with five games," Wehan said. "It was unfortunate to lose in the (U.S. Open Cup). 

"But I think we've regrouped and we'll be ready to go on Wednesday." 

Reno 1868 FC is back in action this week when the team takes on Rio Grande Valley FC on Wednesday (7:30 p.m.) and Sacramento Republic FC on Saturday (7:30 p.m.).
