RENO, Nev. — Reno 1868 FC, one of the hottest clubs in all of U.S. professional soccer, looks to build on a dominant stretch at home as it hosts Sacramento Republic FC in a USL Western Conference showdown.
Reno, a team that is unbeaten in its last six USL matches, is coming off a 3-2 win against Rio Grande Valley FC and boasts one of the top offensive attacks in the league.
Led by forward Dane Kelly (11 goals), Reno has scored 26 USL goals this season with more than half of them coming at Greater Nevada Field.
Reno has outscored its opponents 22-7 during its unbeaten USL streak.
Since mid-April, Reno 1868 FC has gone from the bottom of the USL standings to playoff contender.
