RENO, Nev. — Reno 1868 FC hosts Mexican powerhouse Atlas FC for its first international friendly on Saturday.
More than 4,000 fans are expected at Greater Nevada Field at 7:30 p.m. for Reno's first international showdown.
Reno is coming off a 9-0 win over LA Galaxy II, a win that set a USL record for biggest win in league history. Reno's nine goals also helped make the expansion club the top goal-scoring team in the United States.
Atlas FC brings its first team, to Reno including Argentine forward Matias Alustiza. Alustiza scored nine goals last season, ranking in the Top 10 for Liga MX.
