Reno 1868 FC Players Join San Jose Earthquakes For Friendly Against Bundesliga Squad

RENO,  Nev. — Five Reno 1868 FC players will play in their second international friendly in less than a week. 

Defender Jimmy Ockford, forward Dembakwi Yomba, midfielder Luis Felipe, midfielder Darwin Espinal and defender Thomas Janjigian all joined the San Jose Earthquakes on a short term call-up this week ahead of San Jose's exhibition against Eintracht Frankfurt, a squad from Germany's top league (Bundesliga), on Friday .  

All of those players are coming off an international friendly against Liga MX power Atlas FC on July 8.  All five of these players are wearing the San Jose kit for the first time in their careers. 

Each of them have already made an impact in Reno 1868 FC's inaugural season with Ockford and Felipe combining for four goals this season. 

Reno 1868 FC travels to Vancouver, Canada to take on Whitecaps FC 2 on Saturday at 3:30 p.m.  PT.  Reno currently sits in fourth place in the USL's Western Conference standings.
