RENO, Nev. – Reno 1868 FC extended its home unbeaten streak to 11-straight after topping Swope Park Rangers 1-0 on Saturday at Greater Nevada Field.

Reno’s fourth-straight win helped the club move to third place in the USL Western Conference standings thanks to an early goal by midfielder Antoine Hoppenot in the tenth minute.

Reno continues to build on its resume for the USL playoffs in its inaugural season.

After a back and fourth start to the match, Dane Kelly was taken down in the box in the ninth minute. Hoppenot stepped up and took the penalty kick to score what would prove to be the winner.

Despite numerous cards, including a Brenton Griffiths red card in the 87th minute, Reno held strong as goalkeeper Matt Bersano collected his 8th clean sheet this season.

Reno will hit the road for four-straight matches before returning home Sept. 20 against OKC Energy FC for a match at 6:45 p.m.
