Reno Eyes Home Field Advantage Ahead of Crucial Road Match

RENO, Nev. - Reno 1868 FC, who sits in second in the Western Conference standings, looks to bounce back after a tough loss against the division leader as it heads to face Orange County SC this.
 
These Western Conference contenders are set to face off at 7:00 p.m. at Orange County Great Park in Irvine, Calif. in Reno's final regular road match this year.  
 
Reno has a 1-1 record against Orange County SC this season; losing 0-2 back on March 25 while completing a 3-1 victory on September 25.  Both Jimmy Ockford and Chris Wehan scored the last time these teams faced off. Reno’s third goal came from an own goal from Orange County SC defender Oscar Sorto. 
 
Ockford’s goal marked his third on the season, while Wehan’s goal marked his sixth of the season. Wehan still leads all of the USL with 11 assists on the season in his outstanding rookie of the year campaign. Orange County SC heads into this matchup with a 1-1-1 record in their last three matches. 
 
Reno 1868 FC heads into this match with a 1-1 record in their last two matches with a 6-to-1 victory over Portland Timbers 2 and a 0-3 loss to the division leading Real Monarchs SLC.
1868 FC still remains the league leader in goals at 69 on the season with the closest contender having 56 goals in the Real Monarchs SLC.
