RENO, Nev. – Reno 1868 FC will honor all 58 victims of the recent attack in Las Vegas at this Saturday’s match against Sacramento Republic FC.

Reno players will wear a ribbon that reads “Las Vegas” and “10/1/17” beginning Saturday through the rest of the season.

“Our thoughts and prayers remain with our extended family in Las Vegas,” Reno 1868 FC head coach Ian Russell said. “This senseless act of violence was felt throughout this state and country.

“We will have the victims and their families on our minds and in our hearts during Saturday’s match.”

In addition to wearing the patch, Reno 1868 FC will hold a moment of silence prior to Saturday’s match.

Patches will also be sold for $5 in the Reno 1868 FC Team Shop with $1 from each patch purchase going toward the Las Vegas Victims Fund (https://www.gofundme.com/dr2ks2-las-vegas-victims-fund).

Kickoff for Saturday’s match is scheduled for 6:45 p.m. at Greater Nevada Field.
