Reno 1868 FC Alums With Quakes For Playoff Match

RENO, Nev. — Although Reno 1868 FC's season ended on Saturday, several players from the squad are still competing in American pro soccer's postseason. 

Several former Reno 1868 FC players made the trip to Vancouver this weekend for the Quakes playoff match against the Vancouver Whitecaps  (7:30 p.m. on NBC Sports California). 

Goalkeeper Andrew Tarbell, ,who started four matches for the Quakes, is expected to start in Wednesday's match after helping San Jose to a playoff berth on Sunday in a thrilling 3-2 victory. 

Tarbell recorded nine saves and one clean sheet while with Reno earlier this season.  Tarbell split time this season with Matt Bersano, who recorded nine clean sheets with Reno, and also made the trip to Vancouver. 

Other notable Quakes players who played with Reno including Fatai Alashe, Kip Colvey, Jackson Yueill and Marc Pelosi all traveled with the team. 

Reno 1868 FC will be cheering on alums and the Quakes at 7:30 p.m. at Mellow Fellow in downtown Reno. All patrons 21 and over will get $1 off beer and autographs are being raffled off.
