RENO, Nev. – Reno 1868 FC will host Real Monarchs SLC for a preseason friendly on March 7, both teams announced on Monday.

Kickoff for the friendly is slated for 5:45 p.m. at Greater Nevada Field.

The match will be Reno’s second preseason friendly for the 2018 season.

Reno hosts Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC four days earlier on March 3 at 4 p.m. inside Greater Nevada Field.

The Monarchs currently lead the all-time series between the Western Conference powers, 3-0.  

“We’re excited to bring in another very talented Western Conference club to add to our slate of preseason matchups,” Reno GM Andy Smith said Monday.

Reno 1868 FC will open up the regular season at Greater Nevada Field on March 17 against Swope Park Rangers at 4 p.m.

Tickets for the 2018 regular season go on sale Feb. 3 with pre-sale beginning Tuesday, Jan. 30.
