RENO, Nev. – Reno 1868 FC and midfielder Darwin Espinal have mutually agreed to part ways, the club announced Friday.

Espinal appeared in 13 matches for Reno 1868 FC including starts during his time with the club.

“We are grateful for Darwin’s time with the club and wish him nothing but the best in his future opportunity,” Reno general manager Andy Smith said Friday.

Espinal, a former USL Premier Development League top prospect, scored twice for Reno 1868 FC in 2017. His first goal capped-off a historic 9-0 win over LA Galaxy II on July 3.
