RENO, Nev. – Reno 1868 FC unveiled its new home and away kits ahead of the 2019 season Thursday night at Greater Nevada Field.

Players donned the cobalt blue home and Sierra white away Adidas kit fresh off the press with a new jersey sponsor.

Reno Orthopedic Clinic (ROC) signed on to be the kit sponsor for the 2019, 2020 and 2021 seasons, a partnership that was made official Thursday night.

“This is an exciting time at Reno 1868 FC and we could not be happier to bring Reno Orthopedic Clinic on board as our new jersey sponsor,” Reno 1868 FC president Eric Edelstein said Thursday. “Dr. Zebrack and everyone at Reno Orthopedic Clinic have been providing medical care throughout our clubs existence and we are thrilled to share our jersey with such a respected and deep rooted community practice.”

Dr. John Zebrack (MD), the club’s official team physician at the ROC, expressed jubilation with the partnership Thursday.   

“Reno Orthopedic Clinic is thrilled to be the Official Team Physicians for Reno 1868 FC,” Dr. Zebrack said. “The ROC name emblazoned on the team’s new 2019 jerseys is symbolic of the passionate way this area has embraced professional soccer, and we look forward to providing 1868's players with the kind of leading-edge care they need to compete and win.”

Reno will don the new kits on Saturday, Feb. 9 in its preseason friendly against its MLS affiliate, the San Jose Earthquakes at Greater Nevada Field. Kickoff for that match is slated for 12:15 p.m. and tickets can be purchased at Greater Nevada Field and online at Reno1868FC.com/tickets.
