Paradela joins the team on a loan contract from Universidad San Carlos in Guatemala. The native Cuban brings international experience to the club, logging 637 minutes with the Cuban national team across nine appearances. Paradela started three matches in the 2019 Gold Cup, and recorded five goals and three assists in the CONCACAF Nations League Qualifiers.

In a match against Turks and Caicos Islands, Paradela recorded three goals and three assists. Paradela is the first Cuban ever to secure a P-1A visa to play professional sports in the United States, meaning he maintains his Cuban citizenship and ability to compete with the Cuban National team.
