Wehan, 22, spent the summer of last year training with the San Jose Earthquakes before he was invited to do a trial with Reno 1868 FC last month.  In Wehan’s junior year, he was named to the First Team All-Conference USA after leading the Lobos with 10 goals scored. In the same year, Wehan was named MVP and best offensive player of the Grange & Ashwell Memorial Invitational and earned a spot on the Academic All-Conference USA. As a senior, Wehan led the Lobos to victory in the 2016 Conference USA Men’s Soccer tournament and was declared the MVP.
